1) Sacred to the
memory of ALEXANDER DUNCAN, Esq., Surgeon, Royal Navy, who died
13th February, 1826, aged 62 years.
2) Sacred to the memory of JOHN FRASER, Commissioner to the Right
Honble. the Earl of Seafield, who died at Cullen, on the 30th November,
1848, aged 70; also to that of his wife, CATHERINE DUNCAN, who
died there on the 16th April, 1862, aged 71.
3) In memory of the Rev. ROBT. GRANT, late Minister of Cullen,
who died 9th April, 1808, in the 78th year of his age, and 54th of his
ministry. A diligent pastor, an affectionate husband, indulgent parent,
and warmhearted friend. And, in testimony of regard for his well-known
merit, this stone is erected by his son-in-law, the Rev. ALEXR. GRAY,
minister of Ordiquhil. Here also lies interred his spouse, ELIZABETH
DUNCAN, who died on the 31st day of August, 1809, aged 70.
4) As a small testimony of regard, this stone is erected by
GEORGE REID, in Broom of Findlater, now in Seafield, to the memory of
HELEN COOK, his beloved Spouse who died Augt. 18th, 1752, in the 60th
year of her age. This stone was erected by ALEXR. REID, in Kilhillock,
son to ALEXR. REID, sometime Tennant there, who died anno 1732, aged 43;
and AGNES WILSON, his spouse, who died anno 1760, aged 69. GEORGE REID,
their son, lickwise Tennant in Kilhillock, died Feb. 1797, aged 80; his
spouse, ANN REID, died November, 1800, aged 80; JAMES REID, their son,
sometime Tennant on Kilhillock, died in Cullen 16th October, 1837, aged
79 years. Inscribed by his affectionate widow, MARGARET DUNCAN.
5) In memory of ELIZABETH DUNCAN, second daughter of
WILLIAM ANDERSON, Cullen, who died 1st January, 1859, aged 9 years.
6) Sacred to the memory of Capt. T. DUNCAN, R.N., who died
at Cullen, 20th December, 1848, aged 78, also of his wife, ANN SMITH,
who died 26th May, 1859, aged 84.
7) ALEXANDER DUNCAN, founder of the Duncan Bequest. Born Oct. 2,
1776; died Dec. 20, 1845.
