Duncan is
without doubt one of the oldest names in Scotland with a wide, varied and
historic background. The formation of our own Clan Duncan Society will
enable us to bring all those associated with the name together in one
place as one Clan.
Note:
To all Duncans, join us under the Duncan
banner in the parade up to Edinburgh Castle at the Gathering 2009 at
Holyrood Park 25th 26th July.
Or, visit us at the Clan
Duncan Society tent at the Gathering 2009. If you haven't got your
passport for the event, there is still time, see
http://www.clangathering.org for details.
The
Society's Forum is a platform for society members and
visitors to discuss topics such as Duncan History, Genealogy, Clan's,
Research Help, Scots History and Heraldry. An area for kinsfolk to
come together at home in Scotland and overseas.
One of the
Society’s purposes is to reunite all those with the name Duncan.
